Candle Fundraiser for C.O.P.S.

Larry Morrill a police officer from Bangor, Maine, and the Castine Candle Company, owned by a former law enforcement officer and his wife, have designed a large 26 oz. round glass jar with the C.O.P.S. logo on the front and mission statement on the back.  Each scented candle will have a C.O.P.S. blue ribbon tied around the neck of the jar that can later be tied around a vehicle antenna. Larry lost a fellow co-worker on December 28, 1999, in a motor vehicle accident while in route to back up another officer.  He hadn’t heard of C.O.P.S. until several years later and now wants to give to the   organization that helps the surviving families who lost a law enforcement officer in the line of duty.  The costs of the candles are $21.95 each. With     every purchase 60% of the proceeds will be donated to National C.O.P.S. and 40% to the Maine Chapter of C.O.P.S.
